Goat Funded Trader sells cheap forex and futures challenges and advertises to Americans on Google and Facebook.
The headline platform on its homepage isn't one Americans can pick, which is the first thing worth knowing.
Can Americans buy Goat Funded Trader?
Can a US resident buy this?
Yes, on TradeLocker, Match-Trader or Volumetrica.
We tested it. US VPN. The checkout (app.goatfundedtrader.com) preselected 'United States of America'. The country list is filtered: Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Russia, Israel, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Ukraine are absent. The checkout showed a 'Platform changed' banner ('MetaTrader 5 isn't available to traders in the United States, so we've set this challenge up on TradeLocker instead'), and two platform tiles (MT5 and cTrader) were labelled 'Unavailable in US'. Switching the billing country to the United Kingdom did NOT lift the label, so the gating looks IP-based. The State/Province field is free text, so no states are excluded.

We haven’t yet confirmed the year it started operating from Goat Funded Trader’s own documents. That isn’t an accusation. It means it’s still on our list, and we won’t fill the gap from other review sites.
The advertiser name and ad counts come from Google’s Ads Transparency Center and Meta’s Ad Library, viewed from the US on Oct 1, 2026. Google verifies who pays for ads; that’s independent evidence the business is real and operating, but it isn’t the firm’s own documentation. Ad counts are approximate.
What we found ourselves
- Goat Funded Trader advertises the code GFT45 on its own site (45% off forex (homepage banner, auto-applied at checkout)). It's the firm's own promotion, not a code we negotiated, and we haven't tested it at checkout yet.

Before you buy
No MT5 or cTrader for US forex traders
The help center says MT5 and cTrader are not available to clients in the USA, and the checkout silently switches a US buyer to TradeLocker even though the homepage advertises 'MT5 AVAILABLE'.
Funded daily profit cap and first-payout limits (forex)
Funded accounts can make at most $3,000 profit per day (anything above is deducted), and the first two reward requests are capped at 6% of the initial balance.
IP and VPS rules
Your IP region should stay consistent between purchase and trading. VPS use is banned on 1 Step, 2 Step, Instant Premium and Pay Later accounts bought from Aug 12, 2026 (futures bans VPS entirely). Unexplained IP changes can trigger a review and breaches.
Futures live-account eligibility not settled
GFF says the country list for live accounts 'is still being finalised' and may differ from the sim list, and that one household member at a time may trade.
Bottom line
Available to Americans, cheaply, on TradeLocker, Match-Trader or Volumetrica for forex and a wide choice of futures platforms. The funded forex payout caps matter more than the entry price.
